Victor SAGLIER Small basket, silver plated metal frame, blue glass interior Openwork frame. Hinged handle with a beaded-style net design that echoes the neckline. Closure featuring small stylized flowers. Hallmarks of the silversmith’s workshop, including: (“VS” and a boat) for Victor SAGLIER and the hallmark (“SF” accompanied by a star) for SAGLIER Brothers, who succeeded their father (Victor SAGLIER) and were in business at 12 rue d’Enghien, Paris; Eugène around 1897. Height (at the rim): 6 cm. Height with handle: 11 cm. Base diameter: 6.2 cm. Neck diameter: 10.6 cm. Shows signs of use (scratches, small marks, very slight chipping on the interior).
