Decorated with water leaves and palmettes.
Based on a design by Baron GERARD, painter to the Empire (1770–1837).
Ends finished with “lion’s claw” motifs.
Back of the handles features a stylized, interlaced monogram: “MH.”
Minerva hallmark, 1st title.
Goldsmiths’ hallmarks: LAPPARRA & GABRIEL (“LG” and rat), active from 1902 to 1923.
