Set of 12 fruit knives with vermeil blades (gold on silver) and mother-of-pearl handles.
The knives feature rounded tips, handles fluted on the sides (faceted), and ferrules in the style of a Corinthian capital.
Hallmark (known as the “vieillard”) and gross guarantee mark (“head of Ceres”) for PARIS 1819–1838.
Silversmith’s mark: (“CARDEILHAC” with a crescent and the Legion of Honor).
Length: approximately 19.9–19.7 cm.
Weight: 514.7 grams.
Condition: shows signs of use (crack in one handle, material missing at the end of one handle).
