CHRISTOFLE - "Olivier" Model
Set of 12 silver plated coffee spoons with gilded handles.
Each handle features an amati background, with a pommel decorated with a sun and olive branches in slight relief.
The clasp is shaped like foliage and an olive.
The spoon bowl is ribbed in a “petal” style.
Art Nouveau style.
Hallmarks of the silversmith’s workshop: (“CC” and scales), used between 1840 and 1935.
Signatures spelled out in full as “CHRISTOFLE.”
L.: 11.5 cm
In its case (probably original) from Armand Caron, a jeweler and silversmith in Quimper (shows signs of use, scuffs, and missing sections).
Case dimensions: H: 4.3 cm. L: 25 cm. D: 20 cm.
