This is a very complete variant of the subject, with the Mother of God represented three times, asleep in death amidst the assembly formed by Christ, the angels, the apostles, the bishops and the women of Jerusalem, at the Gates of Paradise in the cloud in the upper register. Narration dominates, with great attention to detail.
