Large and important clock in sea-green marble and bronze with a double brown and gold patina. Decorated with an antique woman reading in the round. The movement is set in a terminal decorated with garlands of flowers, fruit and caprid heads. Dial signed PONS and dated 1827. Lion claw feet. Base decorated with palmettes. Standing on four small feet, two of which are lion's mouth. Restoration period. H. 75 cm W. 56 cm D. 21 cm
