Silver "insect" brooch with spread wings.
Includes a white semi-precious "cat's eye" stone for the body (chrysoberyl? ).
The eyes are formed of red cabochons and the wings are paved with small white pearls or half-pearls.
Metal pin.
Unmarked.
Work circa 1900?
Stone size: 9.4 x 6.6 mm.
Pearl diameters: 2.4 mm and 0.8 mm approx.
Pin size: 21.5 x 35.6 mm.
PB: 5.6 grams.
Some damage (including a red cabochon).
