Master silversmith's hallmark: Jean-François DAPCHER (Hallmark with initials "JFD" and a tower). Began as an apprentice in 1743 with Thomas GERMAIN, orfèvre du Roi aux galeries du Louvre, and completed his apprenticeship with François-Thomas GERMAIN.
