Varnished handle, ormolu mount decorated with openwork foliage and scallops.
Guard decorated with a naval anchor, the quillon with a dolphin's head.
Slightly curved blade with flat back and gutter, monogrammed "BF".
Leather-covered scabbard, brass fittings, one of which features a sea anchor and scallop shell.
