LONDON, 18th century (?) Small silver pedestal basket with blue glass interior. Openwork frame richly decorated with flowers, foliage and birds. Removable handle forming a twisted rope and decorated with a stylized flower. Title stamp for London circa 1756-1776? Letter date "D" for 1759? Master goldsmith's hallmark: "T.F". Max. height (mounting): 8.9 cm Diam. (mounting): 11.4 cm Diam. (base mount): 6.7 cm. H. (crystal): 7 cm Diam. (crystal): 10.5 cm Weight (setting): 154.9 grams Total gross weight (with interior): 298 grams. Slightly missing.
