Twisted tubular glass bottle, silver stopper (dented). The stopper is engraved with stylized interlaced initials "MC" topped by a marquis's crown and a crawling greyhound. English title stamp for London. Letter date "P", probably for London 1890. Goldsmiths' hallmark: "FD" under "WW" in a quatrefoil for WRIGHT & DAVIES (William Thomas Wright & Frederick Davies), in business from 1864 to 1886. H. with stopper: 175 mm. Barrel height (without stopper): 166 mm Diam. barrel: 36.9 mm. Plug diameter: 37.6 mm. Plug weight: 13.6 grams. Total gross weight: 195.7 grams.
