Egg service entirely in vermeil (gold on silver).
Consisting of a circular tray and 6 egg cups.
The tray rests on four small feet and is bordered by a laurel frieze.
Plain egg cups with applied cartouche.
Egg cups engraved with a monogram, surmounted by a Marquis' crown, in turn stamped with a swan with outstretched wings.
One screw is missing.
Shells arranged around the rim and the central one resting on a tripod pedestal.
Minerve hallmark, 1st title (.950).
Master goldsmiths' hallmarks: RISLER & CARRE with their signatures in full (only on egg cup and tray).
Diameter / Weight of tray: 18 cm / 299.6 grams.
Height / Weight of 6 eggcups: 5.1 cm / 253.1 2 grams.
