Small gold-on-silver vermeil aumônière with a rope-like fillet. Opens to two compartments. The body and each compartment in chain mail. Boar's head hallmark. Master goldsmith's hallmark: "AA et un pigeon?" for Alix ANGENOT practicing at 18rue Chapon, Paris between 1882 and 1901. Marked "Breveté S.GD.G". Total dimensions: 76.2 x 53.4 mm Weight: 47.2 grams. Probably in its original case from "Leroye orfèvre, 22 rue Réaumur, Paris". (used condition).11.1 x 9.3 x 4 cm.
