Set of 6 oblong salt cellars in silver plated metal, Louis XVI style.
Decorated with openwork cherubs and garlands of flowers.
Rest on four feet with hoof-shaped finials.
Blue crystal interiors.
Hallmark: “CC” and scales.
H: 4.5 cm, W: 8 cm, D: 5.6 cm.
Includes 3 silver salt scoops of a similar design. Each scoop bears the Minerva hallmark (1st title) and the master silversmith’s mark (“MB,” and a star inscribed within a triangle). L: 6.8 cm.
Silver weight: 10.04 grams.
As is (minor silver loss, gaps/cracks under the base).
