Set of 5 vermeil (gold on silver) entremets/fruit knives, "Napoléon" model.
Stuffed handles on an amati background. Decorated in light relief with a virgin escutcheon, caduceus with Hermes hat and horns of plenty.
Minerve hallmarks 1st title.
Goldsmith's hallmarks: HENIN & Cie, received in 1896.
Blades probably in steel, engraved with a stylized rose and star (to be compared with the mark of the AKELIS firm, which collaborated with HENIN).
