Silver ladle, filet-contour pattern. - Lot 176
Silver ladle, filet-contour pattern. Spatula decorated with a coat of arms under a count's crown. The coat of arms shouldered with a lion and a unicorn. These coats of arms correspond to those of Charles-Léon THIÉRON DE MONCLIN (1804-1888), married on October 23, 1836 to Laurence du FRESNE de BEAUCOURT (1819-1879). Minerve hallmark, 1st title (.950). Master goldsmith's hallmark (almost illegible): Jean-Baptiste VEYRIER (hallmark with his name and a caduceus), received in 1834, with strikethrough in 1855. Dented spoon. We would like to thank Mr. Francis Sanchez (BCG Conseil, expertise in iconography and graphic symbolism) for his help in identifying the coat of arms.
