PARIS 1738 Circular silver dish of the filets contours design. Marli engraved with the coat of arms of Pierre Jean François DOUVILLE de MAILLEFEU, married in 1781 to Anne Marie MAURICE de VILLEROY. Charge and discharge marks for PARIS1738-44. Swearer's hallmark for PARIS 1738. Marks (rim and back) of master silversmith Nicolas-Clement VALLIERES ("NCV" and a pearl), received in 1732.
